Robert

Robert is a life long and complete musician. Playing & Teaching Guitar, Drums, Bass, Ukulele, Bodhran, Cajon and Djembe.

Robert teaches at the Tuxedo Mall Location on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and at his personal Studio, in River Heights, on Tuesdays and Thursdays


​​​​​​​College and University educated with 2 diplomas from the prestigious Humber College Music Department.

Lessons with Robert are fun and, if needed, his video lesson set-up is state of the art allowing students to see and hear everything clearly.


Robert is an active musician in the Winnipeg as well as being one of Canada’s only 7 string jazz guitar players. He owns a recording studio and is also the owner of the school.

Alex

Alex is an accomplished classical guitarist who graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Manitoba’s classical guitar program in 2014.
He is the winner of the Len Hew trophy and scholarship both in 2010 and 2014, as well as the Lieutenant Governor’s trophy in 2012 at the Winnipeg Music Festival.
Alex has performed in master classes with internationally renowned classical guitarists, such as Roland Dyens, Marcin Dylla, and Fabio Zanon, to name a few.
Alex has been a regular performer with the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society, and has played at multiple local venues and across Canada with various groups.
Alex has been teaching music lessons for over 10 years.

Klaus

Klaus is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and music educator who specializes in strings, most notably the violin and mandolin families of instruments. In addition, he has also teaches piano and wind instruments, and has performed frequently on bass in various community groups as well as being involved in musical ensembles in his local church.

Carlos

Carlos is a tenor currently studying a bachelor's in music/voice (opera), with a focus in the performance stream at the Desautels Faculty of Music from the University of Manitoba, where he was awarded the Leonard Heaton Memorial Scholarship.
He is currently studying under the tutelage of Monica Huisman. 
Carlos has recently performed in the opera installment: Truth and Consequences, performing the roles of 'Alfred' in Johann Strauss's "Die Fledermaus" and 'Mr. Mulligan' in Douglas Moore's "The Ballad of Baby Doe".
Back home, he had formal instruction in composition, Latin lyric, Baroque instrumentation, counterpoint, harmony, ensemble, choir, music appreciation, solfège, as well as violin and viola.,t piano, percussion, bass, bagpipe, ukulele and guitar.

David

David began his musical training with his mother.
In 2002, Troya moved to Pamplona, Spain, where he studied at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory under Francesca Croccolino & Maite Ascunce. He collaborated with the Pablo Sarasate Symphony Orchestra.
2003, he won second prize at Santander’s Chamber Music Competition (Spain).David moved to Italy in 2005, studied with A Steven Kramer in Rome, with Italian pianist and composer Luca Garbini in Terni.
In 2007, he was awarded a fellowship from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he studied with Timothy Steeves. David gave a few recitals in St. John’s.
June 2011 he performed at ScotiaFest in Halifax, one of the largest festivals in Atlantic Canada.
David is a very enthusiastic piano teacher, and many of his students have succeeded in festivals, exams, recitals, and competitions.
He completed a Post- Baccalaureate Diploma in Performance at the University of Manitoba in May 2014 under the instruction of David Moroz and Charles Horton.
He is also a pianist at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Edward (Minghui)

Edward is a versatile musician, with a Master's degree in Composition from Brandon University. With a background in piano and extensive experience in private and group music teaching, he possesses a diverse skill set in piano, vocals and in different genres.

Minghui also had the privilege of being a tenor in the Brandon University Chorale, led by Dr. Andrée Dagenais, and recently completed a successful spring tour across Manitoba and North Dakota.

As an educator, he strives to cultivate children's curiosity in music, creating enjoyable and enriching musical experiences for them. He hopes that he can spark their enthusiasm create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can explore their musical interests and talents. Not only does he thrive as an educator, but he also maintains his passion for music composition, ensuring a dynamic and innovative approach to teaching.

Rachel

Rachel has studied piano with Alexander Tselyakov and Megumi Masaki at Brandon University, and completed a Post-Baccalaureate in Collaborative piano with Laura Loewen and Judy Kehler-Siebert at University of Manitoba in 2012. She has also performed at summer programs with Opera NUOVA in Edmonton, and Contemporary Opera Lab in Winnipeg. Rachel seeks to bring from the piano a whole orchestra of colourful sound and support for those with whom she collaborates.

Rachel began teaching piano lessons in 2009. She has taught privately in Toronto for the past eight years, alongside directing church choirs, performing in small ensembles, and producing her own songs and recordings. Her students have enjoyed learning how to play varied styles of music, how to learn music independently, and how to take on a challenge using creative practice techniques.

She is flexible with teaching methods, and strives to be aware of strengths and shortcomings  so as to give each student a well-rounded education, opening doors to many different ways of approaching music throughout their lives.

Rebeca

 Rebeca , born in Campinas - São Paulo, has a degree in Music
Education from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a Bachelor's Degree in
Music under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Angelo José Fernandes from the same university.
In 2014 she joined the Coro Contemporâneo de Campinas, where she worked as a
chorister and soloist in the soprano section.
In 2022 Rebeca began her Master In Music at University of Manitoba under guidance
of Tracy Dahl.

Paige

Paige is a professional rock guitarist who studied Jazz at the University of Manitoba. She is entering her 10th year of teaching at River Heights School of Music. Voted 2021 "Guitarist of The Year" at the Manitoba Loud Music Awards.

Paul

Paul is a violinist, pianist and graduate from Western University. He began playing the violin at the age of four, taking a four year break from lessons along the way, reigniting a passion for music at age fourteen after being introduced to the famous Mendelssohn Violin Concerto.

Paul was a featured soloist with the London Youth Symphony, playing the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major, and was a finalist in the Don Wright Faculty of Music Concerto Competition.

Paul holds a Masters Degree in Violin Performance and Literature from London, Ontario, having studied in the studio of Annette-Barbara Vogel. He has performed with several orchestras in Southern Ontario, including the Western University Symphony Orchestra, International Symphony Orchestra, and has also performed with members of the Tafelmusik Baroque Ensemble.

A passionate teacher as well, Paul began private teaching in 2021 and is continuing to develop his skills as a violin pedagogue.

Paul now resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his wife and cat.

Matthew

Lessons With Matthew are Online ONLY

Matthew holds degrees from the University of Manitoba (B.Mus.) and the University of British Columbia (M.Mus.) in saxophone performance. His achievements include winning the 2015 UofM Concerto competition, the 2016 Adam N. Leckie Memorial Trophy, first place in winds at the 2018 Canadian Music Competition finals, and most recently first place in the American Protege International Concerto Competition. Matthew has performed in venues throughout Canada and as a soloist with both the University of Manitoba Wind Ensemble and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. In 2022 Matthew will make his debut performance in Carnegie Hall. Matthew is currently a performing member of the Winnipeg Wind Ensemble and The Exchange Quartet.

Alexandria

Alexandria is a soprano hailing from Saskatoon.
She moved to Winnipeg in 2010 to study music at the University of Manitoba. She completed her Bachelor of Vocal Performance in 2014, and went on to sing both professionally and for fun.
Alexandria has experience performing and touring both as a soloist and with ensembles such as the University of Manitoba Choirs, Canzona, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and The Saskatoon Opera Chorus.

Alexandria currently teaches in Winnipeg and her focus is in ensuring her students develop a technique to sing in a healthy and sustainable way.

She hopes that all of her students can find the joy and empowerment that music can offer, regardless of which genre they prefer to sing in.

Deidra

Deidra has been teaching voice and piano lessons since 2016.
Her mastery of pop, musical theatre and classical styles enables students to be versatile and adept musicians.
She studied Vocal Performance at the University of Manitoba: Desautels Faculty of Music and went on to earn her Bachelor of Music Therapy from Canadian Mennonite University.
She has worked with a wide variety of students and clientele in both her teaching and music therapy work, ranging from six years old to over the age of 100.
She strives to create a fun, yet challenging environment for all her students, constantly encouraging them to be the very best musicians that they can be.
When she’s not teaching, Deidra uses her spare time to write her own music and perform local shows with her band.
