Policies and Procedures

Payment of Fees: Monthly Tuition to be paid by automatic credit card payment.
Tuition will be charged to your credit card on file the 1st day of each month.
Payment in Full accepted.
Registration Fees:
A $30 registration fee will be charged at the time of initial registration and
once yearly, on the 1st of January, during the time you are an active student.
Missed Private Music Lessons and Make-up Lessons:
To cancel an individual music lesso, click the "Cancel Lessons" button on your account dashboard. A minimum of 24 hours in advance is required.
A make up lesson credit will be given that can be used to self book a lesson at a different time.
You may generate up to 4 make up lesson credits per year.

Substitute Teachers:
In order to maintain student progress, the school schedules substitute teachers when a regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach.
No refunds or make-up lessons will be given if the student does not attend a lesson with a substitute.
If no substitute is available, the student will be offered a make-up lesson at a later date.
Extreme Weather:
If the school must cancel classes due to extreme weather or events beyond our control such as power outages, teachers will provide either a live video lesson or a recorded lesson.
Consent for Digital Communication and Media Release:
The school is given consent to send notices and information regarding lessons, events, and future registrations to student families by email and other digital methods.
Student information will not be shared with any outside companies or parties.
The school reserves the right to take photographs of students to use on our website or on social media.
Minimum lessons and Withdrawing from Lessons:
There is a two-month minimum for all classes.
One calendar month’s notice, given on or before the last day of the previous month and in writing to the office, is required to withdraw from lessons.
No withdrawals are accepted after April 1st.
Care of Students:
The school is not responsible for providing before or after care for students attending lessons. Students are NOT to be left for excessive time before or after their class.
Video Lesson Addendum:
Lessons may be moved online, at any time due to: teacher illness, teacher transport issues,  bad weather, health department requirements, or anything outside our control.
No refunds or make-up lessons will be given if the student does not attend a video lesson.
There is no change to the withdrawal and minimum lesson policy due to a need to go to online learning.
